The outlying areas of Riccione hide treasures, some famous, other less. Here you will find towns rich in history with remnants of their ancient past, recounted in legends and literary works. Visit the medieval town of Gradara and learn about the story of Paolo and Francesca, or San Leo where you can visit the cell where Giuseppe Balsamo, better known as the mysterious alchemist Count Cagliostro, was imprisoned. The tour continues with San Marino, which offers a breathtaking view of the Romagna coastline, Montegridolfo, Mondaino, Montefiore and Urbino, just a few kilometers from Riccione. In each of these picturesque towns you can try the local gastronomic specialties like Fossa Cheese, Sant’Agata Feltria Truffles and peruse the shops for typical local crafts.
A welcoming hotel, where everyone – and I mean everyone – is kind and courteous. They really know how to put their guests at ease!!! Massimo was truly kind and moved his car to make room for us, the moment we arrived! Thank you, everyone!
